Set back in the trees where it's quietest — a snug cabin with a peaked roof, big windows, and the pines just outside. The middle ground between a tent and the main lodge: your own four walls, with the studio, the farm, and the lake trail still a few minutes' walk. Made for two, for a writer chasing a deadline, or anyone who wants the Sierra close and the door shut. Book it alone, or fold it into the house.
