Privacy Policy
What we collect when you reach out to Stone House Lodge, how we use it, and the choices you have. Written plainly, because you should be able to read it.
This policy explains how Stone House Farms LLC, which operates Stone House Lodge in Nevada City, California (“we,” “us,” “our”), handles information collected through stonehouselodge.io, our forms, our chat, phone, email, and text messages.
01 Information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you and host you well:
- What you give us. Your name, email, phone number, dates, group size, and anything you tell us in a form, our website chat, an email, a text, or a call — for a stay, a wedding or private event, an experience application, or studio time.
- Payment information. When you book, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; Stripe handles that directly.
- Automatic information. Basic technical data your browser sends — device and browser type, pages viewed, and similar analytics — collected through cookies and the tools in Section 05.
02 How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and send availability, quotes, confirmations, and arrival details.
- To process and manage a booking or application.
- To send occasional follow-ups related to what you asked about.
- To operate, improve, and secure our website.
We do not sell your personal information.
03 Text messaging (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and opt in — by checking an SMS consent box on one of our forms, texting us first, or asking us to text you — you agree to receive text messages from Stone House Lodge about your inquiry, booking, or the information you requested (for example, availability, confirmations, arrival details, and occasional follow-ups).
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts will not affect your ability to book or stay with us.
We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information or phone number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your SMS consent is not shared with anyone for marketing.
04 Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can perform their work for us:
- HighLevel / LeadConnector — our customer-relationship and messaging platform, which stores your contact details and our correspondence.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel — website and marketing analytics.
- Email delivery providers we use to send you messages.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
05 Cookies & analytics
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to understand how the site is used and to measure our marketing. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may work less smoothly if you do.
06 How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to answer you, manage a booking, meet legal and accounting obligations, and run our business. You can ask us to delete it — see Section 07.
07 Your choices & rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of texts (reply STOP) or marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link) at any time. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. 08 How we protect it
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and we work with established providers (like Stripe and HighLevel) that maintain their own security. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09 Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
