Rental Policy

01 Booking & payment

Your stay is confirmed once payment goes through. We collect the full amount at booking through Stripe, so there is nothing left to pay on arrival unless you add something during your stay, like extra guests or the music studio. Rates depend on the space you book.

02 Arrival & departure

Check-in is after 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you need different timing, ask ahead and we will do our best to make it work.

03 Your group

Each space has a guest limit — the Lodge sleeps up to 15. Please stay within the limit for the unit you booked. Additional guests need approval in advance and may carry an added charge.

04 Cancellations & refunds

We mirror the cancellation terms on our Airbnb listing:

• Free cancellation within 24 hours of booking, as long as check-in is more than 7 days away.
• Cancel 7 or more days before check-in and you receive a 50% refund of your stay total.
• Cancel within 7 days of check-in and the booking is non-refundable.

To cancel, email hello@stonehouselodge.io. Refunds return to your original payment method.

05 House rules

• Pets are welcome. Please clean up after them. You are responsible for any pet-related damage.
• No unauthorized large parties or events. Small gatherings and day guests are fine with our approval in advance, so just reach out first. For weddings and larger events, we have a separate side of the property built for it — start at private events.
• No smoking indoors.
• Treat the home and the land with care, and keep things quiet enough to respect the setting.
• The music studio can be added to your stay for $500/day on request.

06 The land & your safety

Stone House sits on 44 private acres in the Sierra foothills. That setting includes a saltwater pool, an 8-person hot tub, fire features, uneven natural ground, wildlife, and open water nearby. The pool and hot tub are not gated. You and your group use these at your own risk, and you are responsible for supervising children and anyone you bring with you.

For everyone’s safety there are security cameras on the exterior of the property. There are never cameras inside any of the homes.

07 Damage & responsibility

Please leave things roughly as you found them. You are responsible for damage beyond normal wear, missing items, extra cleaning, or unapproved guests during your stay. By booking, you authorize us to charge your payment method for those costs if they come up.

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to hold Stone House Lodge and Stone House Farms LLC harmless for any loss, injury, or claim arising from your stay.

08 If we have to cancel

On the rare chance something outside our control makes a stay impossible — wildfire, evacuation, a utility failure, and the like — we will let you know as soon as we can and refund you for the affected nights.
